Born September 27. 1989 in Halifax
passed away suddenly, due to a motor vehicle
accident, on Feb 18.2008 in Gore. Travis was
survived by his Mother Terry Parker (Rawdon)
and his Father Tom Gerrior (Halifax),
Brothers TJ Gerrior (Halifax), Edward
McKenzie (Rawdon), Sister Michelle Gerrior
(Halifax), Nieces Jessica, Vanessa and
Nephews Cody, Gage. He was also survived by
Grandparents Barb Conrad, Ruth Gerrior.
Travis was also named after his grandfather
Thomas Vincent Gerrior (deceased).
Travis was a member of the Rawdon and
District volunteer fire department. He
worked for Globe Ground at Halifax Stanfield
Airport. His interest included
four-wheeling, skidoos, firefighting, cars,
music and spending time with his girlfriend

SLAUNWHITE, James
William (30) We are saddened to
announce the sudden passing of James
William Slaunwhite due to a motor
vehicle accident. James is survived by
his father, John Slaunwhite; his
brother, John Wayne Slaunwhite; his
daughter, Jazz; his grandparents, Fred
and Patricia Franklin; his aunts, Nancy,
Brenda, Michelle, Krista, Kelley,
Jeanette and Ester; his uncles, Freddie,
Mike, Billy, Larry, Carl, Joe, Gerry,
Dick, Kenny, Gary and Victor; his niece,
Kaitlin; nephew, Kyle; girlfriend,
Taunya and many cousins. James was
predeceased by his mother, Cathy; his
grandparents, Reg and Jenny Slaunwhite;
his aunts, Marcel and Mary; his uncle,
Mannie. James loved his job as a sheet
metal worker, his dog Dakota, cat Buddy,
the outdoors, his family and friends.
James will always be remembered for his
kind heart, his willingness to lend a
helping hand and the ability to make
people smile. He had a love for life and
was truly loved by his family and
friend. |

GERRIOR, Ruth Ann-
(88), of Halifax, N.S. passed away
peacefully at the Northwood Manor on
November 19, 2010. Born in Canso, NS.
She was the daughter of the late Herbert
and Adeline Berrigan. Ruth was a loyal
649 player and a loving and caring
mother and grandmother. She is survived
by Carol (Tom) Duncan of Hubley, N.S.,
sons Thomas (Janet) Halifax, N.S. and
Wayne Jay of PEI, sisters Jean Kelly,
Theresa Fitzpatrick, Irene (Raymond)
Mombourquette, Paully (Donnie) Ledrum,
brothers Bernie Berrigan, grandchildren
T.J., Michelle, Tina and Sharlene, 8
great-grandchildren, 1
great-great-grandchild and several
nieces and nephews. Ruth is predeceased
by her husband Thomas V. Gerrior and
grandson Travis V. Gerrior, brothers
Herb, Pat, Dempsey and Jack, sisters
Helen Evelyn, and Frances. Burial in
Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to the
